I Thought I Knew How to Listen. I Didn't.

I Thought I Knew How to Listen. I Didn't. 〰️
I was great at waiting my turn to talk. Turns out, that’s not listening. That’s just patience with an agenda.
I grew up in New Jersey. Got deep into music. Rebuilt my ears piece by piece. And somewhere between the equipment and the music, I noticed something. The way I listened to a song was completely different from the way I listened to people. With music, I was present. Curious. Patient. With people, I was somewhere else.
That gap became Open Frequency.
What I know for sure.
Music is one of the oldest teachers on earth.
Most communication problems are listening problems.
Your full attention is the most valuable thing you can give someone.
Transformation is supposed to feel like something.
What We’re here to do.
Teach people how to listen. Though music, in relationships, and at work. One session, one episode, one moment of presence at a time.
Stay in the Signal
